PUSH - Passive; you put it out, and people will visit on their own, like a Blog.
PULL - Active; the earlier analogy is good. You wrangle people to come.

I little different question, PMBOK6 mentions 'blogs' and 'press release' as PUSH communication, not sure why.
I would assume these as PULL communication.
Any explanation why these are are PUSH communication?

Hi Gaurav. This is how I remembered "Push" vs. "Pull" communication.
I am sure you have a mobile phone. The settings for any mobile phone to receive emails is "PUSH". When you send out an email to report on project status, you only want to send out to SPECIFIC people.
As for "PULL", pretend that you are in a large crowd and you want attention from everyone, so you want to "pull" everyone ears to listen to you, and so you are sending information to a LARGE group of people.
