The PM PrepCast Is Closing

After 18 years of helping project managers earn their PMI certifications, OSP International LLC will close its doors on December 4, 2026. This page explains why, what happens next, and what it means for you.

A little history first

When I recorded the first PM PrepCast lessons in 2008, the idea was simple: a project manager should be able to prepare for the PMP exam on their own schedule, from wherever they were, with a teacher who had actually done the job. Over the years that grew into a full training company, an exam simulator, and a team I'm immensely proud of. Along the way, roughly 70,000 students trusted us with their certification journey. Many of you wrote to tell us when you passed. Your emails have been the best part, and I will miss them.

Why we are closing

Over the last six years, the PMI exam prep landscape has changed structurally. Preparation options have multiplied, prices across the market have fallen sharply, and the economics of running an independent training company with a dedicated team no longer work. Despite our best efforts, the business is no longer financially sustainable. We have always tried to give you the highest quality preparation we could. We can no longer do that at the standard you deserve, so we are closing rather than continuing with less.

If you are a current customer

Your access continues as normal until December 4 or until your existing access period ends, whichever comes first. Purchases made before today are covered by the terms and conditions in effect at the time of purchase.

If your access period extends beyond December 4, particularly for our training courses, we know this raises questions. We are working on a fair solution and will share details, including what happens with certificates of completion, in the coming weeks.

If you are thinking of purchasing

Between now and October 31, our products are available at a substantial discount. Please note that all access ends on December 4, no matter when you buy. If that timeline works for your exam date, we'd be glad to help you across the finish line.

What happens to the courses

We are exploring options to make our courses and simulators available through a third-party platform after we close. Nothing is confirmed yet. If that changes, we'll let you know.
