In regards to quality management, is there a difference against what's compared with the quality metrics during performance review during the Manage Quality process and quality control measurements?

No, sorry. What are quality metrics compared with during Performance Reviews in the Control Quality process? What are the actual results" the PMBOK is references in the attached PMBOK page (303). And how do those "actual results" compare with the quality control measurements?

In Control Quality process, the aim is to ensure that the deliverable meet all standards, requirements and customer expectation. During performance review, quality metrics outlined in the Quality Management Plan (see pages 286-287) are compared against the actual results. The actual results can be a weekly status report that showed the actual number of products produced versus the actual number of defects per day or the process of ensuring the project is conducted according to requirements, etc.

For Quality Control Measurements, look at the definition in both Manage Quality and Control Quality processes. For example, in Manage Quality process, you use these measurements to determine whether your product is correct per requirement while in Control Quality process, it is the documented results of the Control Quality activities (e.g., inspection).

follow up question, what's the difference between quality reports (output from manage quality) and quality control measurements? i look in pmbok for their definitions and i got the difference between them. no need any clarification.
