Hi,

I have been getting 1 or 2 sections below target out of all domains. For the real PMP exam, do I need to obtain atleast above target score in all areas in order to pass? If I get below target in one area, would that make me fail in the exam?

Harish,

No. Being "Below Target" in one area will not automatically mean that you fail your exam. Take a look here at this lessons learned:

This student had one BT and still passed. I have even seen some results with two BT. However, that was probably "great luck" and I would strongly recommend that you focus on getting at least "On Target" for all 5 domains.
