Sorry I attached the wrong diagram. The question came from Oliver Lehman's 75 free sample questions # 31. His answer is 37 days. I have attached the right diagram. Thank you for your explanation.

In ref to 1st post, when activities have FF relationship we need to consider larger duration due to overlapping each other: Activity 1 (20 d)+ Activity 2 (10-2 =8 d+3 )+ Activity 4 (6 d) = 37 days.

In ref to the attached PDF, the correct answer is "B".
Thanks,

Rosa,

I suspect you haven't received an answer yet because your question is a little difficult to comprehend. Can you display the schedule problem as a graphic? This would help us better visualize it and work out a solution for you. Thanks!

Can someone help explain the correct answer ?

Activity 1 has a duration of 20 days, activity 2 of 10 days, activity 3 of 5 days and activity 4 of 6 days.

with the following path

MILSTONE A --FS-- -ACTIVITY 1 ---FS ---ACTIVITY 2 ----FF-2days
ACTIVITY 3---FS +3 days
ACTIVITY 4----FS----MILESTONE B

What is the minimum total duration between the milestones A and B?

36 days
37 days
39 days
42 days

Why is the answer 37 days?
