I am not a PMP expert, but my guess would be because job security falls under safety and if you have a salary increase you are more likely to stay with the company.

Hello PMP buds

I came across question about Maslow Motivation Theory mentioning that a person getting a salary increase will effect which of the Maslow's 5 levels of motivation (Physiological, Safety, Social , Self Esteem, Actualization).
To my surprise, answer was "Safety" and giving certain website as reference for this answer.

Would any PMP expert comment; how a salary increase may be considered as pertaining to "Safety" level in Maslow's motivation theory?

Kind Regards

Ammar
