Hi everyone,

I’ve run into some confusion while going through mock exams regarding the term “change management plan.” In most practice questions, it refers to project-level change control (e.g., change control boards, handling scope changes, etc.).

However, in a recent mock exam, the term seemed to refer to organizational change frameworks like ADKAR or Prosci. I’m familiar with those, but I interpreted the questions from a project change control perspective and ended up getting them wrong.

How do you distinguish which definition the question is pointing to? It’s frustrating that “change management” can mean two very different things, one focused on project-level change control and the other on broader organizational change.

From what I’ve seen, org-level change management isn’t heavily covered in most prep materials, so it felt a bit unexpected. Curious if others have run into this and how you approach it during the exam.
