Hey all,

I've spent over a decade in advertising but now I'm eyeing something more structured and PMP keeps popping up in my suggestions.

I’m no stranger to managing chaos. But will PMP actually give me tools I can apply?
Looking for real talk.

Hello,

The PMP is less about giving you the skills and more about showing you already have the skills. It is valuable if you want to show that you know your stuff.

As far as what it teaches, it is all theory mostly. To keep it certified tou will have to keep pursuing additional training. Some of that training is certain to apply to the skills you're after. However, you don't need the PMP to utilize training.
