Hi Michael,
Study techniques, you say? Practice and more targeted practice!
Take complete exams, identify areas where you have scored well and areas that could do with improvement.
Target those - do multiple tests in areas of focus and analyse each answer where you made a misstep.

Take another overall test. Rinse and repeat till you are scoring consistently in the 80% range. Then you're probably ready for the exam!
