It will depend on the information given in the problem statement. All of the formulas are looking for a slightly different answer based upon desired accuracy, stakeholder needs, etc. For what it’s worth, the one EAC problem that I saw on my exam in 2020 made it very obvious which formula to use, and I only had maybe three questions total which required the use of any formula at all. Hope this helps!

Hello,
I need some help to understand which formula use to calculate the EAC please?
EAC = AC + (BAC – EV)
EAC = BAC / CPI
EAC = AC + [(BAC – EV) / (CPI * SPI)]
EAC = AC + Bottom-up Estimate to Complete
