All of the formulas are looking for a slightly different answer based upon desired accuracy, stakeholder needs, etc. For what it’s worth, the one EAC problem that I saw on my exam in 2020 made it very obvious which formula to use, and I only had maybe three questions total which required the use of any formula at all.
