The same thing happened to me today. before starting the exam i realized my laptop battery was low. I asked the proctor and waited for 5 min. when didnt receive reply, I went for the charger (still didnt start the exam). Later proctor replied and teminated my exam.
what happened to you afterwards. Did they give you the chance to reappear for the exam? how much time it took before they resolved the case?
I am so sorry to hear about the negative experience you had with the home test.
I had heard about similar cases too, earlier, which is why I have been advised and have been passing on the advise to always take the exam from a test in-person.
Not only is the camera/ mumbling an issue - any fluctuations in bandwidth from your home side are also liable to cancel your exam.
Best of luck for the future, I am sure you will ace the exam!
I faced the same situation as yours regarding wearing the watch and the exam was revoke. I decided to take the exam at the testing center and I passed。
I took the PMP exam live in person, after having taking another professional exam from home. The experience was awful. I don't know what situation would make me want to take another exam from home, but the process definitely adds to the stress of the exam, which is stressful enough. I hope that you are able to resolve the situation through PMI. Best of luck.
