Hi everyone

I remembered question in real exam talk about workaround
It was long question and ended with this
PM needs to create workaround to deal with?
I remember only two options
1- to deal with risks that passively accepted and/or unidentified risks once it occurs
2- to deal with unidentified risks once it occurs

I got confused during the exam
But Ive chosen No1
I think it was correct

After reaserching for more info
I found the following:
Workaround used for unidentified risks and passively accepted risks

For risk are accepted actively will be dealt with a fallback

Hope this info help you to pass your exam

Hi Mahdi,

I think workarounds will be needed to deal with an unanticipated problem, so in this respect you may look at it as an "unknown-unknown" that calls for a corrective action to «work around» that problem.
However, what if you have a known-unknown, so the risk has been identified, and possibly accepted (as part of the response strategy), but then it turns out that some corrective action is needed? I would say a workaround would also be needed in this case.

My 2 cents here. I'll be glad to hear what others think about this.

Hi
Could you please make it clear for me.
Is workaround an unplanned response to Unknown-Unknown or Known-Unknow or both.

Thanks
