Hello Everyone,
Passed PMP @Pearson vue

Thank you, Prepcast team for the amazing content. Mock exams help a lot and wasable to identify gaps in my knowledge.
Definitely worth every penny. I would highly recommend Prepcast for everyone who wants to take PMP.

My Study plan:
Attended Simplilearn classes
Read PMBOK (5 times)
Read Rita Mulchay to understand few concepts (not detailed though)
Reviewed Tim notes
Simpli learn 7 mock tests
Prepcast 8 mock tests
RMC chapter questions

Exam Experience:
The real exam was tricky, not difficult.
Questions were 2-3 lines not extraneous.
Was able to shortlist 2 answers and had to pick one which was difficult
Do not waste time in learning Tools and Techniques just know them.
Know the difference between project management plan updates and project document updates.
Got questions from all Knowledge Areas
Had only 20 minutes left for review
We can Flag questions for review. If we don’t flag you can still go back n review the question.
I didn’t know this feature was available and marked all for review for the first 100 questions.

Pearson Vue Experience:
Pearson Vue experienced was great. Staff was great. Gave a Laminated sheet and Marker if you need one more need to return the previous sheet.
Noise-canceling headset was available

Happy Learning

Congrats - Thanks for sharing!
Since you've attempted the Prepcast mocks and Simplilearn mocks, can you comment on which is harder and more comparable to the real exam?

Thank you, Archana. Were you allowed/able to do a braindump during the tutorial (before the exam began)?

Best,

Aundre

Thank you!
Simplilearn and Prepcast questions are different.
Simplilearn has more Integration management situational questions.
Prepcast questions are tricky and cover all knowledge areas.
You can try a free trial of prepcast and free simulation test of simplilearn and decide.
Learned a lot from both communities.
My advice is to participate in the forum and ask questions and gather data. This will really help with the exam.

Congratulations for passing the PMP exam. 10 minutes time to write braindump is inclusive of the 4 hours duration or in addition to the 4 hours. How many questions came from Agile & did you read the Agile guide?

Thank you!
10 minutes is to review the tutorial. In these 10 minutes, you can do the Brain dump.
Exam timer does not start here.
I didn't get any Agile questions. Have Read Agile concepts in PMBOK. I think that should suffice.

I would like to know what type of maths questions were asked like PV , NPV , FV depreciation , economic value add (EVA) etc for project selection. In quality , sigma , variance etc. In procurement
calculation of point of total assumptions, calculating seller's fee , profit , incentive & total cost for the buyer ?

Questions related to ITTO were explicit like which plan , document or other is required as input or are the outputs, tools & technique OR which is not an input, output or tools & technique for XYZ process?

Hi Archana,

Congratulations on your achievement. I have a specific question. Since you mentioned that you took both PrepCast and Simplilearn - which one would you suggest (if you had to pick only one).

Thanks
