To pass the PMP exam, I studied for about 6 months using several sources. First of course, I read the PMBOK front to back. Next, I listened to the PM Prepcast every morning for about an hour going to work. This allowed me to go through the whole thing 2-3 times, concentrating on areas I needed. I also took a boot camp where I learned I was really not ready and needed to increase my efforts. Following the boot camp, I added Rita’s book. Using the PM Prepcast and Rita’s book, this really accelerated my studies for the exam. I remember hearing Cornelius voice during the exam as I thought about the answers to some of the question.
