Hi Viswa,

if you are thinking about the different processes within a single Knowledge Area (KA) it's easier to identify some sort of sequential path. However, Karthik's question was more on the Knowledge Areas and - as Kyle said - almost everything runs in parallel. I like the way this is discussed in the video, while also illustrated in the schemes in the PMBOK Guide, showing lots of interactions within and across KAs.

Ah. It is sequential to an extent but most of the activities are parallel.
Example - You need Project Charter to develop the Project Management Plan.
But to complete developing the Project Management Plan- you need to finish scope, cost, resource planning, etc.. So, its all parallel.

The short answer is these process all happen in parallel. The best way to wrap your head around this is to watch the Ricardo Vargas Process Flow Video: (
). He explains it much better than I can!
