Please look on page 354 in the PMBOK, especially the point 9.6.1.2. Project Documents, at the third bullet, Physical resource assignments:`
"The physical resource assignments describe the expected resource utilization along with details such as types, amount, location and whether the resource is internal to the organization or outsourced".

I hope that will help to clarify.

Why is it so that section 9.3.3.1 in PMBOK is titled as "Physical Resource Assignments" but its description does NOT show any sort of assignment?
