Is a pen and a notebook allowed during PMP exam @home? I feel pen and a notebook is required for doing formula based questions? Also wanted to understand if calculator is allowed in the PMP exam...

Sorry, but no paper or pen of any kind. You have to use their own whiteboard app. I don't like it either - I have to figure out how to do my data dump on the whiteboard.
I did take a practice exam yesterday using the Microsoft Whiteboard as a stand-in (it honestly looks better than the Pearson VUE app, but it's close). It wasn't too bad. I much prefer pen and paper.
