Hi Mani, I just finished my test at home, using a Windows machine. The exam experience was good, meet no tech issue.
Before taking the exam, I tested with the app Pearson Vue on a macbook Pro and Windows machine. Because the mac is work laptop, the app always giving error while testing. Luckily my home windows machine works with no issue.
So highly recommend you test with the app before schedule the exam.
Good luck

Hi,

I would suggest, to write to PMI Customercare ,and verify the requirement, as there could be some guidelines from PMI.

In the lessons learned forum, I have seen many people have taken the online exam at home. I was wondering if anyone who has taken the exam from home, used a laptop? I only have my macbook air to use and was wondering if anyone ran into any difficulties using a laptop or mac when taking the PMP from home.

Thanks in advance,

Terence Fletcher, Sr.
