Hi Yolanda / Harry,

Thank you so much for this - that was exactly what I was looking for.

You get a much better understanding of the PMBOK Guide when you can actually "see" what they are talking about.

Now I just need some names of the most recognised Project Management Information Systems.

I don't know if PMI has examples but they may have books for a price.

However, the United States Centers for Disease Control has a boatload of templates and they are free and right here: www2a.cdc.gov/cdcup/library/templates/default.htm

This was a treasure trove for small companies like mine that occasionally do business with the Government.

I am curious to know what the most popular project management systems are?

Also, can anyone provide some real examples of the documents such as project charter, project management plan, etc.?

Finally, are these documents usually controlled within the PMIs?
