I have over 20yrs senior project and program management experience in a vast array of waterfall methodologies. Ive had a look as the Pmp exam prerequisites. It appears to have changed. I no longer see a restriction that most of the requisite experience should have been acquired consecutively during the past few years, in order to take the exam. I thought it was a biased criteria to start with, but could someone verify that I am on the right track please? Much appreciated.

This requirement has not changed. Page 6 of the PMP Handbook states:

"All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission. "
