I have just finished the 5th prep exam. It was quiet hard and different compared to the other 4 because I found the questions more vague than in the previous exams.
However I managed to get 148 questions out of the 200 right. Thats 74%

The overall result was failed. Whats the criteria for passing the prep exam? and whats the criteria for the real exam?

Kind Regards

Christian,

You were SO close to passing! The exam simulator requires a minimum of 75% for an overall pass grade. So you were just a question or two away from getting it.

As far as the real PMP exam goes... nobody except PMI knows and they won't say. Please see page 32 of the PMP Handbook www.project-management-prepcast.com/pmphb where they explain how the passing score is established. But they do not divulge what number of questions you have to answer correctly to pass. That part of the equation is a blackbox.
Until Next Time,
