Hello Everyone,

I am looking for clarity on my questions in Change.

Customer notifies about a change to the PM. This request has an impact to the project, let's say schedule. Should the PM follow the below steps? I have also highlighted my 2nd question on the steps that the PM will follow.

PM analyzes the impact of the change. Does the PM also have to let the Customer know about the impact before proceeding with below steps?
Documents the request in Change Log
Submits a CR form to CCB
CCB approves it
PM conveys the change request to the Customer and affected Stakeholders
Updates Change Log with implementation date, responsible person and other information
Implements the Change

And with the same scenario, if the change doesn't affect the project, how should the PM proceed.

Thanks
Nagaraj

I want to add more also.
What if the PM suddenly knows that a change already implemented? Is there any guides of steps to do.
Like make issue log.. then again analyse or request the change ....??
