Most simulators I tried seem to set a 75% figure as a marking threshold for passing or failing.

Just wondering if this value is an heuristic or is there more to it?

Patrick,

There's no firm grade associating with passing on the real exam. However, if you can score consistently above 80% on the exam simulator, you will be just fine to pass the real thing.
