Rajesh.

A scheduling tool, usually a part of PM software, is used to efficiently manage the project's schedule. It can be done on paper but nowadays is primarily a part of a suite of PM software. PM software usually includes tools for cost/budget, schedule, HR, etc. Modern scheduling tools are usually a subset of a PM software suite. Hope that helps.
