How many times are you allowed to sit for the PMP exam?
Any restrictions on max number of tries per year etc?

When your PMP application gets successful, you are given a one-year period to pass your exam. During this period, you can take up to three attempts. If, unfortunately, you fail three times in this one-year period, you have to wait for one year from the date of the last exam taken.

Khurram, if you fail the exam three times then wait one year, do you need to retake the training course or do you just retake the exam only?

You have to retake the exam only because your contact hours never expire. However, you have to also fill in a completely new application, which has to be reviewed, approved & paid for before you can take the exam.

Please clarify, In 1 PMP application(1 payment) i can give 3 attempts or do i have to pay for all 3 attempts again and again in a year?

i will take my third exam in pmp at 3 May since it is my last chance for this year, can i cancel the exam and renew my PMI account for new year and have three chances or if i cancel i have to waite one year to enter the exam?

If my application gets successful but could not get space to schedule for the exam and the one year period lapsed, will i submit a new application to write the exam or will i use same application and schedule for the exam?
