How many times are you allowed to sit for the PMP?

Good day and thanks for asking this question.
When your PMP application gets successful, you are given a one-year period to pass your exam. During this period, you can take up to three attempts. If, unfortunately, you fail three times in this one-year period, you have to wait for one year from the date of the last exam taken.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
