Formula for the Program Evaluation and Review Technique

PERT= (O+4M+P)/6

From your Example

PERT= (4+4*2+5)/6 = 2.833 = Rounded 3

Answer is 3

Even can the we can take average of Pessimestic, Optimestic and Most likely.

Formula is

PERT = (P+M+O)/3

PERT = 4+5+2/3

Answer is 3

Please correct me If Am wrong.
