Status update... (if anyone's following & interested :-))

Exam 4 : 76.5%
Exam 5 : 75.5%

First time right answer rate up to 73% from 71%.

Exam date scheduled for the 29th (earliest date I got)

3 step plan in place to go from 76% avg to 80% in exams 6 & 7:

1.Read PMBok line by line (Drink coffee before reading my weakest chapters)
2.Memorize/Flow through the ITTO's
3.Back to step 1.

Thanks Cornelius....exactly the information I needed.

I understand that I cant by any means take it as a given but I will now aim to get 75% or more in atleast 2 test before I schedule my exam.

I am going to make a plan now for going from 71% to 75%.

Thanks again,

Adithya

Adithya,

Anecdotally, we are being told that customers who reach about a 75% correctness on the simulator are able to pass the exam. So you have to improve just a little bit. But of course I have to place a disclaimer here: Your results may vary.

You say that you feel that you are "going to get comparatively less output out of studying more from here ". Does that mean you feel ready and comfortable to take the exam?

If yes... go ahead and take it.
If no... study for another 2-3 weeks as you say.

But my recommendation would also be to continue taking more sample exams. You have 6 more to go. You can only get better and learn more from these.

I am prep'ing for 2 months now and have taken 3 of the 9 pm exam simulation tests.

1st exam 66% - fail
2nd exam 71.5% - fail
3rd exam 71% - fail

Getting answer right 1st time stands at 71%.

If you were me would you take the exam?

I have a feeling I am/have peaked in terms of my perpration and doing simple marginal analysis..I feel i am going to get comparatively less output out of studying more from here on unless i provision for 2-3 more weeks.

Direction anyone?
