During exam simulator questions regarding EV, ETC, EAC, VAC, and basically all that involve SVI or CPI; I have found that the accuracy of the calculations affect the possible answer.

In some problems using two decimal points in the SVI or CPI value is enough and on others at least six decimal points are nedeed to obtain the correct answer.

Depending on the quantities, the total diference can be between 20 to 50.

I have resorted to using two decimals and if the result is not amongst the available answers, re-calculate again with all the decimal points of the calculator.

Has anyone else experienced this accuracy variation? Is this also a factor in solving the Cost Management Knowledge area problems on the PMP exam?
