My study group is split. Half of us think that with the big 2026 shift from Knowledge Areas to Performance Domains, all our current books (PMBOK 6/7, Rita, etc.) are basically obsolete. The other half thinks the core principles and mindset are the same, so the old materials are still 80% valid.

For those who have analyzed the new Exam Content Outline closely: are we wasting our time drilling ITTOs from the old Process Groups? Or should we keep using our 2024 study plans until the new simulators and books drop next year?

The third option not mentioned, Oliver, is to hit it hard and take the exam before it changes mid-year using the current ECO. 8-12 weeks of hard-core preparation with an exam simulator will get the job done.

Good luck.
