We now have a clear timeline and plan in place.

Our updated materials for the new PMP exam will begin rolling out on 2026-May-08, starting with the initial release of both the training course and simulator, followed by continuous updates as additional content is completed.

If you are planning to take the current exam before the change in July 2026, then your existing materials remain fully aligned and sufficient for your preparation.

If you are planning to take the new exam after July 2026, you will be able to start preparing with the updated materials well in advance.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you... yet.

It is very early days and we are in the process of gathering requirements as well ad defining our strategy. I will not be able to provide an exact timeline until late February.

What I can say is that at this time, we are committed to having an updated PMP exam simulator available. But more precise info will not be ready until late February.

I'm taking my certification next year, but I want to know when materials are going to be updated so I can prep in advance.
