TOPIC: Most affordable options for completing 35 training hours

Hi, I’m preparing for PMP cert and working with a limited budget. I know the 35 contact hours are required, but I’m hoping to find the most affordable way to complete them. For those who have earned their PMP, could you share which courses or sites you used that were both cost-effective and met PMI’s requirements? Thanks for your recommendations.

Congrats on going the PMP Path, a significant step in Professional Development.

Regarding the 35 contact hours requirement, I hope you know that it is not mandatory to complete a PMP Prep Course to fulfill it.
Sure, it is strongly recommended to use a prep Course, even if you can fulfill the contact-hour requirement in another way. (and I do so also).
But to validate your 35 contact hours in PM education, you can use ANY Training/Course you have completed in the past.
It does not matter how long ago it was, as long as you can validate your participation.

On the other hand, a PMP prep course is always a great way not only to prepare for the exam but also to fulfill that requirement.
