Thinking about doing my master’s in Australia and noticed UTS has a PMI-accredited project management course. It looks decent, but I’m also eyeing UNSW’s engineering science (project management) program. That one’s ranked higher but costs a lot more.

Just wondering if the PMI accreditation actually gives you an edge in the job market or with certifications. Or is it more of a nice label that doesn’t matter much once you’re working?

Would appreciate any honest takes. Trying not to sink money into something that won’t move the needle.
