Hi Henrie,

First off...good luck! You’ve clearly put in the time, and that’s already half the battle won. Since you're taking the exam online via PearsonVue, here are the most critical tips. These aren't just "nice to know"—breaking any of these can get your exam terminated.

✅ Must-know rules for Online PMP Testing (PearsonVue):

1. Room Scan is Mandatory
You'll be asked to show your desk, under the desk, the room behind you... everything. If you miss something or the webcam doesn't show it clearly, you may get disqualified.

2. Disconnect Extra Monitors
Only one screen is allowed. If you're using a desktop with dual monitors, unplug all but one.

3. No Wireless Headsets
Use your laptop’s built-in mic and speakers or a wired headset. No AirPods or Bluetooth devices.

4. Stay 100% in View
You must stay in your webcam frame at all times. Looking away from the screen too much can flag you.

5. Don’t Touch Your Face or Talk to Yourself
This one’s weird, but even mumbling can trigger a warning or worse. Be still, be silent.

6. No Notes or Paper
Nothing allowed. Not even a local whiteboard or notepad. Just the built-in online whiteboard tool (if enabled).

7. One Official Break Only
You get one 10-minute break after the first part of the exam. Use it wisely.
Do not get up at any other time. That ends your exam.

8. No Interruptions
No phone, no notes, no software, no animals, no human interaction. Basically freeze yourself in time.

9. Transparent Water Bottle Only
You can have water... but it must be in a clear, label-free container.

10. Check-In Early
Check in 15–30 minutes before your exam start time. Being late can mean no exam and no refund.

12. Don't Sit in a Bathrooms
Testing in or near a bathroom is a hard no. Don’t even try.

Final Tip:
Treat this like airport security. If it feels suspicious, just don’t do it.

You’ve got this! Crush it.

Hey everyone,

I’m taking the PMP exam tomorrow! This is my first and only shot for this year since the price tag was bit hefty for me. Been preparing since the year started and now that my exam's near the nerves are kicking in.

I'm taking it online via PearsonVue and I don't know if that was a good choice. Got any last minute tips?
