Hi James,

First i want to wish you the best of luck and success as you pursue (and obtain ;) ) your PMP Cert this year. I would have to agree with Harry in saying that there is no set score that you can get on a practice exam that will guarantee success. I have heard many say that testing in the high 70-80% range on quizzes and exams is a good sign you are ready for the real thing. That was the rule I abided by and was able to find success as well. I personally took a quiz a day (30 questions max) and would take a full exam on the weekend.

James,

There is no guaranteed "passing score" for the exam simulator as It relates to actual PMP exam. However, I think that scores in the 80% range indicate that you are well-prepared for the exam.

When I was preparing, I focused on weak topics and took only 3 or 4 full-length exams to prepare me for the real thing.

Good luck.

I just took a PMP practice exam and scored around 75%. Not bad, should I be confident if it means I’m ready? Should I keep doing full-length mock exams, or focus on specific topics now?

Really hoping to get certified this year.
