TOPIC: Query regarding PM plan updates using an Approved CR

Dear All,
I have a query wrt updating Plans with a CR in the Planning process group.

So thought of sharing the same here.

Scenario,

1) Manage quality - There is a CR arising out of this Execution process

2)Next, CR would be assessed and post analysis conclusion is to update Sched Mgmt plan (Which is already approved as part of Planning process)

3)Then the CR goes to Perform ICC process  and the Output would be an  Approved CR.

So, in my view this Approved CR should be an input to the Plan Schedule magement for the updates to be made to Sch.Management plan.

But this is not the case. Approved CR is not an input to this process or for that matter any process in planning process group.

May be there is a gap in my understanding.

Appreciate if you could help me understand this.
