Due to some personal family issues I was unable to write PMP exam although I got an extension of 90 days. The situation is much better now and I can go the exam in a month or so. My question is if I reapply for exam eligibility once the application expires, is there any negative impact on my application/eligibility? Thank you!

Provided you are still within your window of extended eligibility when you apply for / take the exam I do not anticipate there would be any negative impact. But you should verify that with PMI to ensure there won't be any issues.
