Just now i submitted the application for the PMP exam and i received a mail saying that the application is under review. It doesn't say that application is approved or selected for audit. Is this unusual?? Should i consider that my application has been selected for audit?

That's perfectly normal. Please see page 4 of the PMP Handbook ( www.pm-prepcast.com/pmphb ) and you will see that step 2 in the process is the completeness review (5 days).
