I would recommend you check with Pearson Vue on what is permitted when taking the exam from home. I know anything that could connect to bluetooth would certainly not be permitted, not sure on ear plugs though.

Hi Elizabeth,

Thanks so much for your feedback! I hear that silicone earplugs are comfortable. That was from Amazon reviews. I'm not sure about the noise-canceling headphones. I would love to try those! I would prefer to have complete silence.

Those little foam ones they give you on planes would be OK, but it's important that they are comfy as you'll be wearing them for hours! I'd get some well in advance of your exam to test them. What about noise cancelling headphones, would they work?
