In iterative life cycle, do you transfer the ownership of deliverable at end of each phase after the deliverable is accepted?

In general after deliverables are accepted are deliverables transferred to the customer at that point or do they have to wait to end of project? I think we'd transfer the deliverable after it is accepted but I wanted to confirm.
