The correct answer is clearly (1) because the resources needed to complete project work are obtained during the process of Aquire Resources.
The planned number of resources must be obtained here, and that is concerning both human and physical resources.
Please check in the PMBOK 6th Edition, on page 328.
I hope this could help.
@felix can then control resources be right answer? consider we check resource availability during control resources, and if any deviation we could have taken necessary action and not wait till acquire resource step, to realize resources are not available?
PM Complained to project Sponsor that he did not get correct number of resources as planned. Sponsor agrees the PM's complaint is genuine and decides to cancel the project. which process would have prevented this extreme step from sponsor
1) Acquire resources
2) control resources
3) manager team
4) estimate activity resources
I though it was 2, but correct answer is 1. The explanation given in eduhubspot is not satisfactory, as it eliminated 2 based on it is for physical resource and not human resource. But no where in question its says type of resource.
