When I took this exam today, I am having self doubt if I will passed? It’s so tough, and tougher than PMP. Those questions and scenario based, and answers are different from what I expect.
My 2 cents: practise prepcast and get familiar with scenario based question. Though the question will not be the same, aspirants must get used to mind twisting and know how to eliminate answers
From the practise I have, I learnt that I tend to select the answers which I am “familiar” with. Please never do so during exam, the actual answer may be totally different from what I am expecting. Hence, read the questions carefully and countercheck the answers, and eliminate the answers one by one.
During practise, I have scored Domain 2 above target but actual exam, I get needs Improvement. The domain which I am least confident with (domain 5), I score above target. Don’t get too carried away with the scoring you get during practise, instead read the domains and task and try to relate with the questions and textbook context. They must makes sense and you can explain to someone easily without a second thought with examples. By the way, I am using PMI-ACP Exam Prep by Mike
Griffiths.
Do not need to memorise anything, the key is must understand and visualise the application, visualise how can this be apply in various scenario.
I hope this helps.
Personally I like the concept of Agile, not only it is helpful to manage projects, it also help me to prioritise my day to day work.
