TOPIC: New questions in ACP Exam

Hello, I've read that after Nov 2024 update the exam has long practical questions based on data from graphics. However, I haven't seen this type of questions in the Prep Cast Simulator. Is it aligned with the new exam?

You are correct. Up until the 7th Edition of the PMI-ACP Exam, there were only multiple-choice questions (A/B/C/D). PMI expanded the types of questions in the 7th Edition. The four different types of questions are:
- Multiple Choice: (A/B/C/D)
- Multiple Response: (A/B/C/D/E) - You must select the two correct answer choices to get credit.
- Multiple Response: (A/B/C/D/E/F) - You must select the three correct answer choices to get credit.
- Drag and Drop: Match terms in the right column to terms in the left column.
- Exhibits (Charts): These questions will show you a chart and ask you where on the chart does the correct answer belong.

Hi,
I just read that new questions with multipl choice solutions will be on the exam PMI-ACP. I bought the Exam Simulator just one mount ago, and I can say that there is no multiple questions in it.
Has the Simulator updated questions or?

You are absolutely correct. We have received similar feedback from those taking the exam recently. PMI has indeed added new question types and question styles to the exam. Especially the new question styles which include email snippets and "excel dumps" are new. However, we have a plan and here is what we are doing about this:

• We have a team of 3 recent exam takers develop new questions for us
• 15 "drag and drop" questions have been added to the PMI-ACP Simulator in the last 72 hours
• The team met again yesterday to discuss their next development cycle
• We know from our past development efforts that it takes about 4 hours to develop a good question. So this isn't something that happens "overnight".
• These new questions will be continuously added and released over the coming days/weeks

I will go ahead an post regular updates here in the forum about the changes and new question that have been added.

Thanks for the answer, but I habe schedule an exam for next week! And I found out yesterday in your forum that since end of 2024 there are so types of questions. So, end of 2024 till now is more then 8th mounts. So, if there is a posibility to publish the questions, or if I should update my Exam Simulator, please let me know ASAP, because I have 5 days left till the exam.

Thank you for your follow-up, and we completely understand your frustration. You're in the final stretch before your exam, and learning about these new question types now is understandably stressful.

Please know that we are doing everything we can to add these new styles of questions into the simulator as quickly as possible. As I said, creating realistic, high-quality PMI-ACP questions (especially the new styles like drag-and-drop, email snippets, and spreadsheet views) is time-intensive. We're doing our best.

However, for your upcoming exam, the most important thing is this: you now know that you will likely see different question types and styles on the exam. You won’t be caught off guard. This gives you a critical edge. Most importantly: These new question types are still grounded in the same core agile concepts, and your existing knowledge and preparation will still serve you well.

Also, to the best of our knowledge, no other PMI-ACP exam simulator on the market currently includes these new question styles. In fact, as of our latest check just a few weeks ago, even PMI’s own Study Hall platform does not yet include them.

So you're not behind others in your prep. You’re actually ahead, because you’re informed. Stay focused, review the concepts, and go into the exam with confidence. You've got this.

Thanks for the reply. However, as you can see in other replies to this question, the simulator is NOT UPDATED with the new types of questions. Pleople in internet, who has taken the exam says there are email chains questions, graphics, drag and drop, multiple, etc.
