Hello Richard,
First of all, thank you for your interest in The PM PrepCast (for PDUS). In case you haven't seen it yet, the full description of the training course can be found here
www.project-management-prepcast.com/pdus/earn-prepcast-pdus
.
The course itself is nearly 100% video-based. There are a few audio lessons, but they are the smallest part of the 60 hours you receive. To view a few samples of the course, please visit this page here
www.project-management-prepcast.com/proj...ment-overview-part-1
. And if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see links to about half a dozen more sample lessons.
But you are correct when you say that the course does NOT come with a transcript. You learn solely by watching the videos and listen to my commentary/explanations. Once you have completed watching at least 60 hours of the material (but at the earliest 14 days after your purchase) you can take the Final Exam in order to receive your certificate of completion. This exam is really easy and should in no way be compared to the PMP exam. It is a PMI requirement that we include a "course assessment" before giving out the certificate, so we created the Final Exam where you have to show that you understood the material from the course. But let me repeat: Really easy questions. In fact... over 85% of our students pass it on their first go around. And if you don't then you can take it again until you pass.
Does that answer your concern?
Until Next Time,
