Question: What are PMI Publication Quizzes?

Answer: Publication Quizzes are The Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® way to allow you to earn PDUs from articles and videos that they publish. In a nutshell: Read a PMI article or watch a PMI video - answer some questions - earn PDUs. Here is what PMI writes about these quizzes:

“Quizzes are available in two formats: video-based and article-based. In the NEW video format, watch a bundle of entertaining videos on project-related topics and answer a quiz based upon the video. Pass the quiz, and earn between .5 and 2.5 PDUs, depending on the length of the content. You may go back to review the videos throughout the quiz process.

The article-based Publication Quiz format gives you the opportunity to read a collection of papers or articles, and take an open-book quiz online. The papers come from PMI global congresses and research conferences, and the articles from publications including PM Network magazine and Project Management Journal. You have three tries to complete the quiz.

Publication Quizzes cover a variety of topics, including organizational project management, communications management, work breakdown structures and team management.”

PMI Publication Quizzes cost anywhere from US$10 – US$20 per PDU for PMI members and are available at www.pmi.org/Professional-Development/e-l...ication-Quizzes.aspx
