I found this forum helpful during my preparation, so I decided to share my experience after passing the CAPM examination today on the first attempt!
What I did -
•CAPM in-depth book by Paul Sanghera - It was available free in my office library, so I read it once.
•Excel - made ITTO table with every detail in excel for easy review. I tried different combinations using the filter to understand all inputs, Tools, and Outputs to review before the examination. I can happily share this excel with any of you if you prefer (so you can save time).
•PM PrepCast Elite course - I registered on May 2nd, 2021. I highly recommend this as it contains training videos and an exam simulator - I watched all the videos and took notes.
•I gave two practice tests, did not score well. I was disappointed, reviewed both right and wrong answers. Reviewed the concept and attempted several quizzes as I did not have time with a full-time job to take the 3rd practice test, so I did time & learning quizzes with ten questions at a time.
•Two days before the examination (Friday & Saturday) – I reviewed my ITTO excel. As it was difficult to memorize everything, I tried to understand the relationships between different processes & memorized outputs. This helped me a lot during the exam as I could eliminate the wrong choices. You need to understand the ITTO table very well to pass this examination.
I felt like the real exam was more straightforward than PrepCast practice tests. Thanks to PrepCast for having a good practice question bank to prepare!
Good luck with your preparation!!
