Hello, I am starting to prepare for the CAPM exam and trying to put a study plan down. For the sack of figuring out how much time I need to spend reading, practicing and watching videos to schedule my exam accordingly. Do you think reading part 2 in the pmbok is necessary to pass the CAPM exam?

I would appreciate your feedback and advice.

Thank you

Youssef,

The answer is "No". You don't have to read it.

The CAPM Exam will test your knowledge and understanding of chapters 1-13 found in Part 1. So I recommend that you read Part 1, as well as appendices X3, X4, X5, and the Glossary. You can skip Part 2 'The Standard" completely.
Until Next Time,
