First my Prepcast scores since I liked seeing those when I was studying:
PMP Exam 1 75.5%
PMP Exam 2 78.5%
PMP Exam 3 81%
PMP Exam 4 77.5%
PMP Exam 5 83%
PMP Exam 6 78.5%
PMP Exam 7 81.5%
PMP Exam 8 84%

I passed with 4 above and 1 on target. Took about 3 hours.

For the four weeks I read the PMBoK guide once, I listened to the Prepcast on my iPod as much during the day as I could, about 2 hours, but since I get easily distracted with slower speaking I listened to it on 1.5 speed on my iPhone which kept me engaged and got through more material faster.

For the simulator, as others Mohave said it’s not about the score it’s about finding the gaps. Re-read the bottom processes and look up in the PMBoK those words you don’t understand.

All in all. The Prepcast and Simulator, plus the PMBoK were all that were needed for this exam if you have the required experience.
