I am sorry it took so long for me to get to the Lessons Learned but here it is.
First of all, the Prepcast and Exam Simulators were key in preparing me for the test. I have been working in project management for many years and yet I learned A LOT from the prepcast and would recommend it to anyone that wants to make sure they pass on the first try.
Second, I red the PMBOK 3 times. The first time, I wasn't sure about some things and just put question marks and kept going. It wasn't a very fun book. The second time I read it along side the prepcast, which made it a lot easier to understand and a lot less boring. Then, I read it or just speed read it before starting on the exam simulator. The exam simulator gave me the confidence and know how of navigating the test that made me feel at ease the day of the test.
I had a goal and a plan and did it a little every day and more on the week-ends. It took me 6 months total because I, like many, work full time and also have family responsibilities.
The test was no surprise and I was prepare and got high markings.
Thanks Cornelius and your team!
