I have passed PMP on 11th June.

My overall Preparation time was a bit longer, but I suggest at least 4 - 5 months of study to all aspirants.

Things which are must, as per me are as below.

1. Read PMBOK - 3 - 4 times. It is helpful, more you spend over here.
2. Rita Mulchay - I have read it 2 - 3 times. It is a good resource.

PM Prepcast - It is helpful. Good resource. and In case of 3rd edition, it was only 49 USD. It helps you to understand PMBOK and you dont need to spend efforts in memorizing it.

And most important is practice questions. I have collected almost 6000 + Questions across various resources and gone through more than 3500. Some good sources are head first, PM Study, Oliver, PM Fastrack and questions posted in each good reference books.
